Cow Escapes Slaughterhouse In Queens

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) — The NYPD corralled a runaway cow that got loose in Queens Thursday afternoon. The incident happened in Jamaica, near 164th Street and Jamaica Avenue, just after noon. Police responded to the scene and were able to harness the heifer without incident. The bovine was cornered in a parking garage at Archer Avenue and 165th Street, and no injuries were reported. It is believed the cow escaped from a Halal slaughterhouse in the area. It was initially spotted on Jamaica Avenue and Merrick Boulevard.

I feel like this cow should kinda be set free, no? Like he earned it in my book. Its almost like in The Dark Knight Rises when Batman escapes from that gigantic prison-well. If you can successfully scale that wall and make the leap of faith without the rope to that other brick and climb out, you get your freedom. Thats like a cow escaping the slaughterhouse. I mean obviously he wasnt able to ride off into the sunset. He’s in fucking Jamaica Queens. What do you want him to run over the Whitestone and up into the fields of Westchester? Theres only so much you can expect a cow to do and breaking out of the slaughterhouse is basically it. And these fucking pigs are just gonna send her back to factory to get turned into hamburger?
