What Are The Chances John Daly Has Never Watched A 30 For 30 Before?

That tweet struck me in a weird way.  On the face, it’s just a guy who is excited about being the focus of a documentary.  Especially a documentary that is so critically acclaimed like ESPN’s 30 for 30 series.  But after reading it a few times I can almost gurantee John Daly has never actually watched a 30 for 30.  Because they’re not just all about how great of an athlete a person is.  Sure, they don’t normally do documentaries on unsuccessful people.  That’d be boring but you have to have something else going on to be the focus of a 30 for 30. Liiiiiike 4 ex-wives, losing $50+ million in gambling, being the life of every party and being an alcoholic.  That’s why they picked the one and only John Daly and nobody else. It’s true that they wouldn’t be doing a documentary if he didn’t have those two majors under his belt but there’s a bunch of golfers out there with two majors who people don’t give a shit about.  There’s only one JD.
