Video Proves What We Already Knew: People Are More Willing To Help Someone Who Dresses Well Over Somebody Dressed Like A Slob

Hold the phone right there!  You’re telling me that people are going to be more willing to help a well-dressed dying man in the street over a dying guy who dresses like a slob?  Well that’s flat out groundbreaking.  I would’ve for sure thought that people would rush to the aid of a homeless-looking guy equally to that of a man wearing a three piece suit.  I don’t know what to believe any more.  Up is down, black is white and Kevin Hart is funny.  Seriously, all this video proves is what we already knew.  People will help better looking people regardless of the situation.  It’s why hot girls get to skip the line at clubs and get preferential treatment in every other situation under the sun.  It’s the basis of society.  Always has been and always will be.  It’s like Seinfeld said, “You don’t see any handsome homeless.”  Take me for example.  I’m a super weird looking dude that dresses in a hoodie and jeans practically every day of my life which makes me the first guy in the video above.  If I start to have a heart attack on the busiest street in the world no one is helping me, I know that going in.  It’s a risk I take every time I walk out the door.  Even in Iowa where homeless people aren’t littering the streets, I’m still going unattended and will more than likely die right there on the street.  That’s just the way it is.  All of the slow piano music in the world isn’t going to save me.  That’s not happening to a guy that looks like Ashton Kutcher.  That guy is getting saved 100 times out of 100.

PS- Do I think this is how society should operate or that it’s right?  Of course not.  But I don’t make the rules, I just know what they are.
