It’s a known fact that you can put just about anything to hip hop music and it instantly becomes 1000000x cooler. That’s just a fact of life. So when you put a T.I. song as the backdrop to one of the best defensive back seasons in Iowa history then you’re really cooking with gas. A lot of the praise has been heaped onto CJ Beathard and New Kirk Ferentz for the Hawkeyes success this season but Desmond Kind has been a giant part of it. Whenever your name starts getting thrown around because it’s tied in interceptions with a guy named Nile Kinnick, you’re doing something right.  King is the guy on the other side of the ball who always seems to make a play when the team needs it most. Back breakers for the opposing team.  The plays when the other team is driving down the field to take the lead or tie, there’s King. He’s only a junior so I hope he sticks around but I’ve already seen NFL articles popping up about his pro potential. Here’s to hoping he stays for his senior because it is electric when he gets his hands on the ball. Coming for that ass, Nebraska.
