Riot Police Officer Fires Off A Tear Gas Cylinder Right In A Chick's Face

Metro- Getting shot point blank in the face with a cylinder of tear gas can’t be fun. That happened to a young protestor in Montreal, Canada, during an ‘illegal’ demonstration. A video showed a police officer firing his weapon in the woman’s face after a scuffle with the crowd on Thursday in Quebec City. She immediately covered up and turned her head after she was hit. It later emerged the woman had suffered several cuts to her face. The backlash from the video was so much that the public security minister got involved. ‘As a mother, when you see something like that, if it’s my son, or my girl, when people go to demonstrations, they have the right to protest, but safely,’ Lise Theriault said. Protestors took to the streets close to the National Assembly because they were unhappy about proposed austerity measures.

YIKES! I guess we can sort of laugh about it now because it sounds like the girl isn’t dead or anything but damn. That police officer totally called in sick the day they taught the officers how to use the tear gas, right? He must have. I don’t know shit about about shit when it comes to firing off tear gas canisters but that can’t be the right way. Maybe fire it into the crowd and at their feet. That’ll make people run away 100 times out of 100. You hear a canister of anything fired out of a gun, you run. That’s printed on our DNA. Not sure it was necessary to run up on her and let one off in her grill mix.  But hey, then again, you show up to a protest where the cops tell you not to cross a certain point and you do?  Prepare to get tear gassed directly in your eyeball.  Live and learn.

PS- I guess this was in Canada. Didn’t know Canadians rioted. Maybe riots where they hug the police officers in the town squad but not actual riots. The more you know.
