Martin Kaymer With An Absolute Brass Balls Putt On 17 And Goes On To Win The Players Championship

That’s an UNBELIEVABLE putt from Martin Kaymer.  Jump-off-your-couch type of drama on the 17th at TPC Sawgrass.  One for the ages.  Saved the tournament for Kaymer with Jim Furyk sitting in the clubhouse at -12.  After almost oddly putting it in the water on 17 and then chunking the subsequent chip shot I thought for sure we were headed for a Monday playoff.  But nope.  Kaymer makes one of those putts we’ll be seeing replays of over and over again through the years and cruises to victory at The Players.  Great stuff.  And if you don’t think I was yelling “BETTER THAN MOST!” at my TV while that putt broke a good 6 feet before it dropped then you don’t know me very well.

PS- I still want all of the Jordan Spieth stock that’s still available and hasn’t been bought up.  Kid is a stud.  And if people are gonna start saying “He keeps faltering on Sunday when it matters most” the kid can’tt even legally buy a beer yet.  Chill.
