Mad Props To This Guy Who Couldn't Pay His Bar Tab So He Left His Clothes As Collateral

Times Live- A drinker who could not pay his bar bill left his clothes at the pub as collateral and headed off naked to get cash, Czech police said. Security camera footage posted on news website www.idnes.cz showed the man walked through the town of Prerov early on Monday afternoon, dressed only in ankle-length black socks and talking on a cellphone. Police soon found the man who said he had popped across town to another pub to get some cash. He was allowed to complete his quest and eventually settled the bill, got his clothes back and put them on. City police said they handed the case over to state police for further investigation.

Respect. Everybody should aspire to be like this guy. This guy could’ve drank and dashed and never paid his bar tab but he didn’t. He’s a man of honor. He’s a man of dignity. He’s a man of respect. His clothes are his bond. Sure, he could’ve just left his t-shirt and walked home with pants but he’s better than that. He wanted the bartender to know he meant business. Anybody can just leave a shirt and never come back. But a whole outfit? Nobody just leaves a whole outfit somewhere and never comes back. That’s the message he wanted to send. He would be coming back to pay his bar tab in full. I also respect him for being so hammered that he thought it was a good idea. I guarantee the bartender was like, “You know what man? This tab is on us. You don’t have to get naked and walk home to get cash. No worries” and he still got naked and walked home to get cash. Cause that the kind of guy he is.
