Lucey Won The Drake Relays Beautiful Bull Dog Contest And Looked Dapper As Fuck

Lucey.  What a pup.  That crown never looked so good.  This is a big deal around here and if that makes us weird then I don’t wanna be normal.  Bulldogs come from far and wide (well, Illinois) to compete in the Beautiful Bulldog Contest.  50 bulldogs total.  Spectators come out in droves to see these dogs strut their stuff and pick an eventual winner.  And this year it was Lucey from Waukee who took the 35h annual crown.  Not only does this mean that Lucey is officially the toast of the town in Des Moines, it means the Drake Relays are about to start.  What are the Drake Relays, you ask?  Only one of the top track competitions in the world.  Some of the greatest track runners from around there world flock to Des Moines to compete in the Drake Relays.  But more importantly, it means an all-out booze fest in DM.  The Relays are known just as much for the parities as they are for the track.  There likely won’t be any riots like there were at VEISHEA but it’s been known to get pretty wild.  I’ve gone a couple times and it’s a miracle that my liver was still in tact when I came home.  If you see any craziness at the Drake Relays this week/weekend send it to iowa@barstoolsports.com
