PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — A journeyman professional golfer who has spent time recently giving lessons and caddying said in a radio interview that Tiger Woods has been suspended for a month by the PGA Tour — a claim that the PGA Tour and Woods’ agent vehemently deny. Dan Olsen, 48, who last played a PGA Tour event at the 2011 PGA Championship, told 730AM The Game in Lansing, Michigan, on Friday that “I heard he’s on a month’s suspension … it’s kind of a strong witness. It’s a credible person who is telling me this.” Olsen, who played only one full season on the PGA Tour (2004), said an exempt tour player told him, but he would not disclose the player and couldn’t say he fully believed him. He also told ESPN.com’s Michael Collins on Monday that the information he got about the suspension was not first-hand. “It’s not testosterone, but it’s something else,” Olsen said. “I think when it’s all said and done, he’s gonna surpass Lance Armstrong with infamy.” Olsen also talked about Woods using a “cheater ball,” referring to the Nike golf ball he plays, and that those allegations were potentially more damaging than the suspension. “I’ll be looked at as just some crazy f— nobody making accusations about Tiger,” Olsen told ESPN.com. Ty Votaw, the executive vice president of the PGA Tour, denied any of the claims brought forth by Olsen.  “There is no truth whatsoever to these claims,” Votaw said. “We categorically deny these allegations.” The Tour almost never comments on disciplinary matters. Woods said on Feb. 11 that he was taking a break to deal with the issues in his game after withdrawing during the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open last month. Over the past year, Woods has withdrawn with an injury three times and now has fallen outside of the top 70 in the world.

Well who the fuck is this Dan Olsen guy?  Coming out of NOWHERE and saying Tiger got suspended for steroids and that’s why he’s not playing right now.  Comparing him to Lance Armstrong and shit.  I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s not true. Call me crazy for not trusting the accusations of a guy who hasn’t played since 2011 and heard it from some random player who he won’t name.  Sounds a little fishy.  Although if this is true, I say GOOD.  Tiger should do whatever he needs to get back to being the old Tiger.  Take all the steroids he can.  If that’s what was helping him win in the 2000s then do it again.  I’m sick of watching him play 12 holes and withdrawing because he’s off HGH.  Get back on it, find some unlicensed super scientist working in his basement who can create a masking agent so the drugs aren’t detectable and let’s win some fucking majors.  The Masters is like a month away.  Tiger needs to be there.  He’s clearly a creature of habit and that habit got thrown off course back on Thanksgiving 2009.  So he needs to go back to doing everything he was doing back when he was winning 93% of the tournaments he entered.  Dump Lindsey Vonn (or stay with her, doesn’t matter.  It might be better if he stays with her actually) and start running through porn stars like they’re pieces of gum.  Start hanging with Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan in the high rollers rooms at casinos again.  It’s a winning formula.

Again, as far as this Dan Olsen character goes, maybe he’s right and maybe he’s wrong about the suspension.  Who knows.  He’s right when he says people are going to look at him like a fucking nobody just spewing shit.  Truth is, we’ll probably never know the truth.  The PGA doesn’t disclose suspensions like this.  That’s why Dustin Johnson was able to spin the cocaine story into a “I’m just taking some time off to clear my head” because the PGA refused to comment on it.
