A Fan Got Arrested For "Slapping" Justin Timberlake At A Golf Tournament This Weekend
TMZ- Justin Timberlake got five to the face from a golf spectator — and then the spectator got busted by cops … TMZ has learned. We obtained video of JT shot Saturday at the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am in Lake Tahoe — and you clearly see a hand smack Justin as he’s walking through the crowd. He didn’t take it lightly either. Justin turned around and yelled, “Why would you do that?” After he walked off, security for the tourney was seen talking to the slaphappy suspect. Tournament reps saw it as a minor incident, and Justin — who didn’t have a mark on him — didn’t want to press charges … but when Sheriff’s deputies attempted to escort the man off the course things went south. Law enforcement sources tell us he claimed he just wanted to “touch” Justin and got overzealous — but refused to leave the premises. We’re told he appeared intoxicated and became belligerent. Cops arrested him for disorderly conduct.
Everybody needs to calm the hell down. I saw this story going around the interwebz with headlines like “FAN SLAPS JT ACROSS THE FACE” and “JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE PUNCHED IN THE FACE BY FAN” I saw those and I wondered why we weren’t launching a thousand ships at the person who dared physically harm Justin Timberlake. I wondered why it wasn’t a bigger story and why we weren’t tying this person to a tree and taking turns punching them in the stomach. Because nobody hurts JT. You would be hard pressed to find someone more popular in the world than Justin Randall Timberlake. I literally can’t think of anybody off the top of my head. He’s more popular than the Pop. Chicks love him cause he can dance. Guys love him cause he makes fire jams. Black people love him because he can dance. White people love him cause black people love him and he can also sing. Then I watched the video and knew why it wasn’t a bigger story. The guy BARELY touches JT. An unnecessary invasion of Justin’s bubble? Absolutely. A slap? Gimme a fucking break.

That I understand. If I were close enough to JT to touch him, I might try and get a piece too. It’s a minor miracle that Timberlake isn’t tackled by horny chicks every time he steps outta the house. Bottom line, the guy didn’t wanna hurt Justin Timberlake. He just wanted to touch him. JT saw that and decided not to press charges. End of story.
