Do you ever wish you were a soccer fan living in Europe? I do. It seems like the best life ever. If I didn’t have to leave the greatest country in the world to become one, I’d do it in a heartbeat. The best part about it would be that people just expect you to be a drunken fool all the time. Sure, you can do that here in the States but it’s not the same. Over there they get in brawls and street fights and clashes with the police and people just shrug their shoulders like, “There go those crazy soccer fans again!” It’s a free pass to be an unhinged crazy person. Toss on a soccer jersey, drink yourself into Bolivian and nobody cares. Do that here and you’ll get posted on YouTube and plastered all over blogs as an asshole. Take that video for instance. In the USA, that freaks people out cause it’s a bunch of dudes screaming at a baby. The parents would be horrified and people would be arrested. But a pack of Irish guys in soccer jerseys doing it? People love it. I’m jealous.
