Kings & Refs Take 2-0 Lead On The Rangers In Double OT

No big deal. Just a blatant goalie interference penalty ignored (that was the same as one called on Pouliot earlier) which resulted in a goal, only to be out-done with a missed delay-of-game penalty in double OT seconds before the Kings game-winner. Good job, stripes. Crazy to think that the Kings haven’t skated for a single second with a lead yet now have a 2-0 series advantage. The Rangers were the better team tonight, but this isn’t the time for moral victories. They created plenty of chances to end it earlier, but Quick was up to the task. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but the Blueshirts shouldn’t be hanging their heads just yet. Winning 4 of 5 is gonna take a heroic effort all around, but all they need to be concerned with right now is packing this same effort to bring back to MSG & hold serve. All I need to be concerned with is the rest of the booze in my house.
