Breaking Bad Fans In Connecticut Call 911 When Cable Cut Out During Sunday Night’s Episode
Time – The final season of Breaking Bad has left fans on edge each week, with last night’s episode bringing a series record of 5.9 million viewers. But a portion of Connecticut fans missed out on the action when a power outage in Norwalk left Optimum cable subscribers without service for almost two hours, the Associated Press reports. Breaking Bad fans reacted in a state of panic. Rather that calling the cable service, some viewers dialed 911 to voice their concerns. The Fairfield Police Department was not impressed. The department took to its Facebook page to admonish callers for using 911 to complain about a cable problem, asking them to direct complaints to Cablevision and even warning that misuse of the emergency line could result in arrest. Service was restored just after 11 p.m. — just in time for the 11:35 p.m. rerun of the latest episode.
Welp, its official. Its been a long time coming. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to call it yet. But I am now:
Breaking Bad is officially the most annoying thing in the world of white people.
When the assholes from Fairfield County are calling the authorities because they can’t watch their “program,” you know you’ve crossed into a whole new world of white assholes. Myself included. Me, you, these dicks calling 911 – we’ve all become that walking stereotype about white people and their television shows. It replaced “The Wire” a long time ago. Now its in a class of its own as we go to the internet to analyze GIFs and quotes and scenes on Reddit like a bunch of white ass cracker nerds. And you know what? I don’t even care. I don’t care about spoiling it for the assholes who haven’t watched. I don’t care about being that annoying white dork who can’t talk about anything other than this show. Its consumed my life for the past 5 years so now I’m gonna consume your life with it for the final 6 episodes. Deal with it.
So without further ado, here’s your white people “oh my gosh!” Breaking Bad nugget of the day – Bryan Cranston in a hemorrhoid Preparation H commercial:
