Turns Out We've Been Pronouncing "Meme" Wrong This Entire Time, It's Really Pronounced "May May"

Well what do you know, we’ve been saying the word “meme” (formally pronounced “meem”) incorrectly our entire lives. The new way to say it is “may may” or “meh may” and there’s no question about it. Sometimes all it takes is a big man to come along to set us down the right path. All these years you’ve been saying “meem” to identify Lance Stephenson blowing in people’s ears and Michael Jordan crying faces. Well guess what, you’ve been wrong. Remember when you yelled at your friend who asked if you saw a meh may or a me-me? Well now you’re a big stupid internet loser, and Bryce and the rest of us are the kings of the castle.

Bet you he also calls emojis “em-a-gees”, you know, like a winner. So you have one choice, America: you can continue calling them “meems” and be laughed at for being a big stupid internet dork, or you can call them “may mays” and join the rest of is in a progressing society. I know what side of history I’m going to be on. The MVP side.

PS: It took literally 2 hours for the Internet to ruin this. If one more person makes a “whip and may may” joke I swear to fucking god. What is the internet’s obsession with ruining everything?
