Sad News: Daniel Bryan Might Never Wrestle Again

Awful news. Daniel Bryan dedicated his life to wrestling. To taking outrageous bumps and working his way from the bottom to the very top. Worked his ass off and won over the fans everywhere he went, finally getting to the WWE and winning the title at last year’s Wrestlemania. He wasn’t scripted to win. Vince didn’t want him as champ. Vince didn’t think he was marketable. But the more they tried to bury him, the more the fans wanted him. Watching him cross over the mainstream with his “YES!” chant as he climbed to the top of the business was some of the most fun we’ll ever have as wrestling fans. Shit, I was even able to blog about him because he was just so likable and fun to watch. But injuries on injuries on injuries have hampered him since. All the hard bumps, all the banging on his body has taken a toll. All the years given to us, the fans. He was never supposed to be world champ to begin with, so it’s very unlikely he’ll ever get back. Just so glad he had his moment he so rightfully deserved.  I’m sure he’ll stick around in some capacity, for example he’s involved with Tough Enough, but hopefully we will see him in the ring again.
