Good god! I’m afraid to go outside now. No, not because of the burning cars and buildings and people wielding knives all over the place. I’m staying the fuck inside because Ray Lewis said so. Nevermind that I’m well outside the city right now. I’m staying parked indoors. What an absolutely frightening speech. In a good way though. Like when dad catches you beating up your little brother and gives you the tongue-lashing of a lifetime. I don’t know what it says about Baltimore, but if there’s one person whose words could curb the senseless destruction, it’s Ray Lewis. Not the Mayor, not the Governor… it’s Ray. Spot on.
