OddsShark Presents Glenny & The Bets

oddsshark

It’s been a long week of baseball. Long week of Basketball. Short week of Hockey. The Rockets/Thunder series has not been good to me, so that’s been pretty annoying. Any team playing the Mets has been some pretty fire action as well. Aside from that, let’s dive into this weekend’s action.

I know Matt has some winners below

Went 2-1 for the second straight week to get my 40th win on this lovely OddsShark column here. I’d like to thank Glenny because everybody thinks this is him writing right now and Louis for putting me on. Win 40. What a milestone. Pick your spots…

  •  Mets  +140 (DeGrom) @ Nationals -160 (Scherzer)
    • There’s a gas leak in Queens and Scherzer might go out there and light a match. And when a fire starts burn, yeah, it’s starts to spread.  But really I’m filing this one in the Lock cabinet.  Pick: Nationals -160
  •  Celtics -3 @ Bulls
    • Celtics have been a cash cow since going down 0-2 but I got an itch to go contrarian here. Bobby Portis game to send it to 7. Pick: Bulls +3

 Picks Record: 40-32 (55% shooter)

Balls is back with 2 Overs and a surprise Under

  • Mets/Nationals Under 7
    • Yes, I’m taking an under. I was pretty shocked when I stared down these stats of the Amazin’s last 10. The Mets are 13-6-2 on the Over this season. How? We have the Nationals coming cross country from Colorado after putting up a 16 spot yesterday so I’m looking for those bats to finally be dead. Pair that with Scherzer on the bump against that Mets AA lineup? I think we’re in the market for a perfect game. This game should be like 3-0 Nationals.
  • Clippers/Jazz Over 191.5
    • I looooove the West Coast! 10:30pm game- nothing better. Sweet action will be going on until the wee hours of the morning. Not to mention this Over is being bet at 67% and the totals have been split down the middle at 5-5 in their last 10 head to head games. Hopping all over this.
  • Yankees/Orioles Over 9
    • Despite what they’re depicted as, neither of these teams are sporting anything above 5-5 on overs in their past 10 games. There’s just something about overs at Yankee Stadium. CC hasn’t been pitching terribly, but Gausman has not. I love, love, love this matchup in the bandbox that is the House that Ruth Built.

That’s all for this week, folks. Check back next week as we’ll still be grinding along with the NBA, NHL, and MLB like Russian peasants. As always you can find me and Matt on Twitter for questions, comments, and concerns @glenny_balls and @mbrowner55
