Next Stop: Vegas And The Main Event!

And there it is. 14 years in the making. At long last, I’m going to Vegas to play the Main Event of the World Series of Poker. Pretty surreal. After seeing Chris Moneymaker on TV back in 2003, I’ve been hooked on poker. I’ve had moderate success here and there, but never have been able to pony up the 10k to play the big one. And now, thanks to FantasyLabs, I get to play it. Just a cool $8 million or so for first, no pressure.

As for Smitty, can’t even tap dance on this grave. After dropping 2 games in a row, he battled back and took the next 2, but couldn’t pull it out in the end. I think he still gets to come to Vegas to watch me, so that’s cool, right?
