Mr. Playoffs Tom Wilson Puts The Caps On His Back As They Knot The Series At 2
What a game. The final was 5-4 but it didn’t seem that close. I know that’s a dumb cliche but I think it works here. The Caps outworked the Leafs, outplayed the Leafs, and all around looked like the better team. And they were led by Mr. Playoffs Tom Wilson. After his game one heroics, he came out tonight and saved the above goal, and then scored on the other end.
BUT THAT WASN’T ALL.
A heroic play and a goal wasn’t all, you ask? You’d be right.
Not only did he score another, but he was mic’d up for it too:
