Kirk To Scot: "How You Like Me Now?!"

They both gambled on themselves, and Kirk won. He’s going to get paid, and he deserves every penny of it. There’s no denying anymore that he’s one of the top QBs in the league.

He just flat out balls. He uses the weapons around him to perfection, and when guys go down (DeSean last week, Jordan Reed all the time, etc), he doesn’t miss a beat. I’ve never seen a QB develop from absolutely dreadful 3 years ago to the star like he is now. Even his first couple of games were shaky, not awful, but shaky this season, and as I wrote then, I believed he would turn it around and he has, plus more. 5 300+ yard games this year, 17 TDs to 7 INTs, and already over 3,000 yards passing.

It is so hard to be a good NFL QB, and Kirk has worked and worked and worked to make himself one. He’s 11-4-1 in his last 16 games. The Lions game this year he did everything and more, but the defense couldn’t hold a lead for 1 minute. The Bengals game was a fucking tie, again because of the defense.

One week at a time he’s proving the naysayers wrong. Can’t beat a team with a winning record? Check. Can’t win in prime time? Check. Now the #haters are saying “yeah well he won’t win a playoff game”. It’s always one thing after another, so I guess we’ll wait and see? But I believe in Kirk, and everyone else should as well. He’s a winner. He’s a gamer. He isn’t perfect, but he works his ass to the bone day in and day out and it shows.

Hopefully Scot pays him, and he has continued success in Washington. I don’t want to see him anywhere else.
