Jim Tomsula Is Officially Hired To Take The Redskins To The Promised Land

Jim Tomsula, he has risen! One second you’re taking the train into work, the next second you step off and see the Skins have already locked up next year’s Super Bowl.

After being the 49ers defensive line coach for like 30 years, and then 1 year as the headcoach/bingo caller before being fired, Jim Tomsula dropped off the face of the Earth. Some say literally…

But now the chosen one is back!

Tomsula on the sidelines of the Skins games changes everything. The whole headcoaching thing didn’t work out but has a shit ton of experience and as the #1 sports podcast on iTunes PMT puts it, he’s the biggest football guy in the world. You can never have enough football guys leading the team.

Also over the weekend, the Skins promoted their linebackers coach to DC

Can’t say I’m particularly thrilled about this (RIP Rob Ryan) but at the same time I don’t know much about him and the players seem to like him, so I won’t rush to judgement. And it can’t be worse than Joe Barry’s 3rd down defense, so it’s already an improvement.
