Jerry Jones Doesn't Think AT&T Field Was Taken Over By 49ers Fans On Sunday

LBS – When Jones was informed after the game that roughly half of the 91,174 in attendance were cheering for Colin Kaepernick and company, the Cowboys owner became visibly irritated. “First of all, I don’t acknowledge that there were half of them there.” he said, via Tim McMahon of ESPN.com. “Did you count them?” Jones was then assured that there was a sea of burgundy and gold all over his $1.2 billion stadium. He was also asked if the number of Niners fans indicates that his team has a marketing problem. “BS,” he snapped. “I know you didn’t count them. Anyway, nothing went through my mind. I was looking at the game. Listen, I’m interested in the football game and what went on with the game. It’s not good when you don’t win — from any perspective, marketing or otherwise. I had my eye on those turnovers and interest on those turnovers.”

Yea you idiots! Did you count each and every person? Could have easily been 49.9% 49ers fans. Did you even see the people in the view obstructed seats? Dallas fans, duh. I love JJ’s attitude here. It’s so NFL. If you close your eyes and avoid all evidence, it can’t possibly be true. It’s really all it takes. Goodell actually probably learned that trick from Jones. It all makes sense now. So what if everyone in the lower bowl is wearing red? So. Fucking. What. Disregard all evidence, make your own decision based on nothing. Tried and true method to being right.

And it’s only going to get worse. The Cowboys, as we all predicted, are AWFUL. They took a historically bad defense from last season and made it worse. Tony Romo reads a defense like how Floyd Mayweather reads a book. It took 3 quarters for Dez Bryant to quit on the team. And all we can do is sit back and laugh. I predicted the Cowboys to go 3-13 this year and I might have been being generous. Brandon Weeden might be starting by week 4.
