Gotta Respect The Hustle Of The Woman Who Was In a Terrible Car Accident But Kept On Drinking When The Paramedics Were Trying To Help Her

WAVY - Prosecutors in Virginia Beach said a woman was still drinking beer as paramedics tried to help her after a car accident. A judge sentenced 41-year-old Tricia Kight Wednesday for DUI and permanently injuring a victim. Back in October, Kight caused a crash on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach while on the way home from purchasing beer. Kight did not have the right of way and struck another vehicle. As EMS attempted to treat the serious injuries to the Kight’s leg, she began drinking a beer, said police. The officer was able to pry the beer from her hand, but she reached for the case of beer on the floor and grabbed another. Police say Kight had a blood alcohol level five times the legal limit. According to police, she had drunk a 12-pack of beer and had taken two Percocets.

Yea, the person she hit got messed up. So that sucks. But you can’t disrespect this woman’s hustle. Drank a 12er, popped two percs, and then went back for more. If you’re going to get fucked up, you do it like that. No half measures. No “I think I’ve had enough”. When you want to drink, sometimes you have to pull out all stops. Beer isn’t going to drive itself to your house. And walking takes forever. So yea, she messed up, hit someone, and is going to jail. But not for lack of trying. And to keep on going about her mission even after she had serious injuries. Kept on drinking even when the tables were turned against her. Inspirational stuff. She never quit. Never gave up. Kept on hustling. So in a way, she’s sort of a hero.
