And That's All She Wrote For The O's

That’s all folks. A disappointing end to a very disappointing series after a very wonderful regular season. At this time last week, many Orioles fans were drooling at the thought of the O’s playing the Royals with a World Series berth on the line. How things can change in a week. Seemed like the entire team ran out of gas at the same time. They weren’t blown out in any game. Very frustrating to watch.

The Orioles just ran into the buzz saw known as….The Kansas City Royals. They didn’t make mistakes. They executed and played solid baseball. Made the key catches, got the clutch hits, everything came up Kansas City. Sucks, but its baseball. On paper I’d take this Orioles team 10 times outta 10 over the Royals. I still think the O’s are a better team, the Royals are just hotter right now. Not always the best team that wins it, most times its the hottest.

Was a great run by a great team. Already looking to next year with a healthy Wieters and Manny. Season recap to come on Friday.
