1 Game Suspension For Nene

Not much to add to what I said earlier. It was expected, but a bit annoying. Nene was running down the court, got pushed by a grown man who goes by “Jimmy”, and stood up to him. He probably shouldn’t have put him in a headlock, that was kinda the mistake. One more second and he probably punts Butler’s head into the rafters, so at least the refs got involved before that happened.

Even if I wasn’t a Wizards fan, I’d still think the suspension is bullshit. Things get heated on the court. No punches were thrown. Nobody was hurt. The ejection was fine, but suspension?. This is the playoffs. Can you see them suspending LeBron for something that minuscule? Not at all. Soft league, soft suspension.

So now, I suppose Booker gets the start, and we will see Kevin Seraphin playing minutes off the bench. Not ideal. Game 4 just got a whole lot harder.
