Wednesday Night

Something everyone has said about this Hawks team is that they have never been truly tested this year Punched in the mouth. Back against the wall. Well we can’t say that anymore. Down 2-1 going into the third with little to no momentum it was gut check time and the Hawks showed up. Plain and Simple. They dominated that period (minus that last minute and a half) when the season was on the line. When they were backed into a corner. Yeah the penalty shot was borderline but guess what, thursday night the refs missed out on giving Saad one on a clear penalty shot situation. That’s the way it goes. Sometimes you get the bounces and sometimes you don’t. Tonight we did. No one said winning the Cup would be easy and this series proves just that. Now it’s all about Wednesday Night. Wings vs Hawks, Game 7, last game of the rivalry before re-alignment. It had to be this way, and I for one couldn’t be more pumped. I fucking love this team.
