Tsuyoshi Wada Finding A Credit Card On The Field Mid Game Last Night Means The Cubs Are Going To Win The World Series This Year

In case you missed the Cubs game last night (West Coast trips suck) 3 things of note happened. One, Wada is back, which means a solid 4th starter and everyone on twitter making Wada puns every time he pitches. “Wada Game by Wada” etc etc. It’s the worst and I hope we can all agree to not do it every time he takes the mound. 2 the bullpen actually pitched well in extended relief, 4 1/3 ip with only 2 hits given up. I’m going to reserve judgement on this one knowing how bad the bullpen has been but any progress is good in that department. And 3) Something I have never seen in a baseball game before. Tsuyoshi Wada finding a credit card on the ground in the field of play after finishing an inning. Not sure how this happens, not sure who’s credit card went missing but I think this is like the opposite of the Billy Goat or Black Cat. Wada finding a Credit Card on the ground is the sign that the Cubs will win the World Series this year and in no way is this just me being a crazy delusional person. Spotting Dimes eating Onions, here come the 2015 Chicago Cubs.
