Sheridan Man Arrested For DUI, Promptly Tries To Eat A Piece Of The Police Car

July 8, 2013 ( SHERIDAN, Ill.) — A north-central Illinois man accused of resisting arrest on charges of drunken driving apparently has even more legal trouble to chew on after allegedly eating part of the patrol car that hauled him off to jail. WLPO-AM reports 22-year-old Rick Frederick of Sheridan made clear he didn’t want to be taken in by LaSalle County sheriff’s deputies early Saturday, so he started gnawing on the molding around the door of the patrol car into which he was tucked.

Frederick’s 14 citations linked to the traffic stop now include criminal damage to government property, along with tickets alleging DUI, resisting arrest, obstructing identification, fleeing and eluding, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheridan does not have a listed home telephone number. Online court records don’t show whether he has an attorney.

Talk about insult to injury. The fact that the cops are going to throw “criminal damage to government property” charge at him here is an absolute joke. Have they never been shitfaced and had the munchies? Yeah Rick Frederick shouldn’t have drove drunk, bad call, but the DUI charge is enough. Anyone who punishes a person for being drunk and hungry is just a flat out tyrant. When I’m drunk I will eat literally ANYTHING. Pizza, cereal, chips, car seats, you name it I’ll eat it. Have a little decency Cops. Or try and go shit faced and not eat anything, wake up in your bed with the spins and see how that feels. That Car seat was all Rick Frederick had between him and about a thousand pounds of puke. It’s called being a human person.
