Tough times for Ron. I mean I know he still does some appearances on TV and shit and has an enormous buy out from Illinois, but going from Division 1 head football coach/big swinging dick on campus at 2 major programs to cube monkey in Florida is a bad turn of events no matter how you slice it.

My question though is this. Did the person who hired Ron Zook watch Illinois football? Like ever? Ron Zook was the classic over promise under deliver guy. Recruit big, pump up expectations, fail on the field (minus the year they backed into the Rose Bowl). So Business Development? Really? He’s the last person I would want developing anything. Ron Zook can’t develop his way out of a paper bag.
