Rodney Harrison Says Colin Kaepernick Isn't Black, Which Is Exactly What This Whole Controversy Needed

(Source) The Colin Kaepernick takes keep rolling in, and Rodney Harrison delivered a hot one during an interview on iHeartRadio Tuesday morning.

“I tell you this, I’m a black man. And Colin Kaepernick — he’s not black,” Harrison said. “He can not understand what I face and what other young black men and black people face, or people of color face, on a every single (day) basis. When you walk in a grocery store, and you might have $2,000 or $3,000 in your pocket and you go up in to a Foot Locker and they’re looking at you like you about to steal something.

“You know, I don’t think he faces those type of things that we face on a daily basis.”

Kaepernick was adopted at birth, but he comes from a biologically white mother and black father. Considering he’s biracial, Kaepernick is viewed by most as a person of color and has to deal with racial issues. Just take a gander at his Twitter mentions over the last few days.

And here I was thinking how could we get this Colin Kaepernick story to last ANOTHER day. Well the answer is simple, Rodney Harrison just needs to speak and start a black off with Colin Kaepernick. Just what this entire story needed, little who is blacker dick measuring contest in the public eye (no pun intended, Reggie Miller). So there we have it folks, a backup quarterback not sitting during the national anthem in a preseason game has officially reached every corner of this earth. Wait, hold on, at least Canada hasn’t chimed in. HA! Just kidding.

The clown suited man from up North would like to let us know his thoughts on our country’s civil rights and national anthem . Video Games, Rodney Harrison having a black contest, and Don Cherry chiming in from his maple syrup Cabin in Quebec. All we need is for someone to find Richard Simmons and maybe get thoughts from one of the Trump kids and we’ve got ourselves Bingo.

PS

This was kind of my “throw the baby out with the bathwater” point from yesterday. Colin Kaepernick has the right to do whatever he wants, that’s why this country is so great, but I’m pretty sure your message gets lost when Don Cherry gets himself involved. Just feel like there are ways you can get your point across without losing said point a million different times in the media shitstorm that follows.
