Peanut Tillman Placed On IR

Shit. I don’t think anyone actually thought Peanut would hold up for all 16 games this year but we all kind of hoped it would last a little longer than 6 quarters. Just such a tough thing to watch. He really is everything you love to root for as a fan. Tough, plays hard, steps up in big moments and is an even better person off the field. One of the best Bears of all time. Not sure if this is a career for him, the realist in me says it probably is, but I’ll hold out a slim sliver of hope until I see him at his retirement press conference.
