Just studying my charts

(Source) Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose will have surgery to repair a torn meniscus he suffered after injuring his right knee, sidelining him indefinitely. It is unclear when – or if – Rose will return this season. Rose underwent a MRI in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, where the torn cartilage was diagnosed.

After missing the entire 2012-13 season rehabilitating an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his left knee, Rose had returned this season with a determination to restore the form that made him the youngest NBA MVP in history in 2011. Eleven games into the Bulls’ season, Rose’s performance had still been largely uneven and inconsistent.

I’m not a doctor but I do know my way around Web MD quite well. This is good compared to an ACL, real good. 3-6 months (cue the D-Rose will take 18 months jokes). But this is good. Still bad in that we never know if D-Rose will be the same guy after two knee surgeries in the past 2 years but it’s better than another torn ACL. Like finding out your wife cheated on you but it was with a chick*
