News Flash: Selling A Baby For 3 Grand Is Actually Against The Law

A man and woman in Tennessee were arrested last week after they attempted to sell their 5-month-old infant online.

John David Cain, 26, and Deanna Lynn Greer, 37, were charged with aggravated child abuse and aggravated child neglect or endangerment after they posted an ad on Craigslist and offered to sell the baby for $3,000, ABC affiliate WATE in Knoxville reported Saturday, citing the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

The two were caught in a sting operation that ended on Friday when they exchanged the baby with state agents for the cash.

There’s gotta be meth involved in this story. It’s the only explanation. You don’t just sell a baby for 3k unless there’s meth involved. I’ve never looked into selling a child but you gotta think you can get more for a kid than 3 grand especially a five month old. A five-month-old isnt even six months old yet. People forget that.

It’s like negotiation 101. Supply and demand dictates that you can get more for that kid if you really try. I’m not for selling your babies, in fact, I’m against selling people.

Also, if you want to sell a baby, why on earth would you do it on craigslist? Everybody lowballs on Craiglist. It’s bullshit.

Just the other day I posted some golf clubs on Craiglist. The price for these clubs was set at 150. They were about 8 years old, in decent shape, and in relatively good condition. People kept writing me back, “Hey, would you take 75 dollars?” What the fuck? No. I was offended. Don’t lowball me, bro.

Imagine if that was your kid, though. You post that baby on Craiglist for 3 grand and people write you back, “Hey, I’ll give 2200 for Carl in cash right now.” That’s so insulting. Sure, I don’t love my baby enough to keep it but I’m not gonna knock off 800 bucks. This is a business. Carl is a fucking human. If you would come back at say… 2750 it might be something that I would consider but I’m not gonna give you a 33 percent discount. I might be a meth addict, but I’m a meth addict second and a business man first. The dollars have got to make sense.
