(Source) The actor who played football’s favorite underdog Vince Papale in “Invincible” and boxing legend Micky Ward in “The Fighter” is now getting his chance to showcase his athleticism on the hardwood. Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2012-13, tweeted and Instagrammed his account of a 1-on-1 game with Wahlberg at the Berto Center Wednesday night. Butler allegedly won 7-6, which is probably a closer game than it should have been. As athletic as Wahlberg is, Butler is still a pro basketball player and has almost a foot on Wahlberg (6-foot-7 to 5-foot-8).

100 points, 100 rebound, 100 steals, 100 blocks, and 100 assists in a 1 on 1 game to 7? Is that good or something? HA! Probably the best stat line you can ever have in the history of ever. And yeah it’s just the offseason but if you add Jimmy Buckets 100/100/100/100 and D-Rose’s Samurai dunk I’d say the Bulls are rounding into perfect shape for a title run.
