You know how people joke about Nic Cage being a time traveling vampire. They point to pictures like this.

Or the fact that he bought a pyramid tomb for himself in New Orleans for when he “dies” even though he is immortal.

Well I have a confession to make. I don’t think the whole Nic Cage is a vampire thing is even remotely funny or cool. Why? Because it’s 100% true. It’s just a fact at this point. Idris Elba’s story proves it. You don’t go and sleep in Dracula’s haunted castle in Translyvania if you aren’t already a vampire and know that vampires can’t kill vampires, you just don’t. So this is one of those stories that most people will read and be like oh man, that Nic Cage, he’s so zany, whereas people with a brain and an ability to use common sense and logic will know that Nic Cage actually is a vampire and that the prudent thing to do here is to respect him from afar, go to his movies, never say a bad word about him and hope he doesn’t take over the human race. And in no way do I think any of this is an over reaction.
