2-12. That is the combined Big Ten record for Illinois Colleges. The 2 wins? Oh those were by Northern Illinois. Northwestern and Illinois are a combined 0-12 in the Big Ten. The only reason that number will grow is because Northwestern goes to Champaign-Urbana on November 30th for the unofficial Illinois Big Ten Toilet Bowl. Then again I wouldn’t be surprised if the game ends in a tie.

So I guess my point here is this. 1) If you’re a homeless person looking for some Saturday entertainment head down to Purdue and 2)Enjoy Northern Illinois tonight (I’m hoping Wisconsin and the Huskies can make BCS bowls) because I honestly think you could combine the Northwestern and Illinois rosters and they still wouldn’t beat Jordan Lynch and the Huskies.
