(Source) The driver of the 18 wheeler who slammed into Tracy Morgan‘s limo Friday night was reportedly a road hog and proud of it, tweeting “Trying to win more than lose!  Driving trucks for a living.  It’s my road.  Move or get hit! #Walmart.” Kevin Roper turned himself in after being charged with death by auto.  He was released a short time later.  James McNair was killed in the crash.  Tracy remains in critical condition and he’ll be in the hospital for a while. The New York Daily News spotted what they say is Roper’s tweet.  A short time later Roper’s twitter account became private. A friend of Roper’s told the Daily News the account was the real deal, although Walmart disputes it. Roper showed no signs of slowing down before crashing into the limo … though he swerved at the last minute.

Whoops! Bet you wish you could have that tweet back Kevin Roper. Going to be a little tough explaining to a judge that you didn’t mean to ram a limo, kill a guy and severely injure a few more when you’re on the record as saying “Move or get hit!”. Which I obviously understand is just a truck driver’s mentality. Same with city bus drivers. They don’t believe anyone else in the world exists. But those are thoughts best kept in your brain and not blasted out onto the internet, you know, just in case you kill a person because they didn’t move and the rule under those circumstances is to hit them with your tuck. I get it, rules are rules, just some rules are best unwritten.

PS

I also realize that my entire life now reads like one long tweet that I will someday regret and want to take back. Whatevs, YOLO life.
