Giving Birth To A Baby On A Flight Is Kinda Rude, No Disrespect To The New Mother PS. Congrats

A woman aboard a Southwest Airlines flight out of Philadelphia gave birth to a baby in mid-air on Sunday, according to a report.

The Orlando-bound Southwest Airlines flight was over South Carolina when the expectant mother’s water broke, according to AL.com.

The flight crew asked if there any doctors or nurses among the 132-passengers on board. Two doctors and a nurse helped deliver the boy to cheers from the crew and other passengers, the report said.

I’m on the record as saying that I think it’s fine to bring your baby on a flight. Parents gotta travel too. Do you think that a parent wants to have their 18-month old little fucker shitting up their neck at 30 thousand feet whilst screaming bloody murder? Of course they don’t. Being a parent at your own house is hard enough. The parent hates their kids on flights far more than you hate those kids. That’s a stone cold fact.

I really only have two rules for people flying.

1. Dont poop on the plane. It’s rude. That little, thin, accordion door doesn’t act like Tupperware and keep all that smell in the bathroom. You are exposing your inner most smell to all the folks on the plane. You gotta hold it until you land. If you’re lucky, you’ll land at LGA which has pretty nice and clean restrooms despite the reputation. (8.8/10)

2. Do not give birth on the plane. I love the miracle of birth. I’m a below the wall guy. I’ll watch the birth up close and personal. I’m not concerned with body fluid or anything like that. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest. “Well, Chaps. Then what’s the issue with giving birth on a plane?” Glad you asked. Go back to rule one. Many people poop themselves when they give birth. From the sound of that video, the mother was a pooper and violated rule one. Can’t stand for it. Won’t stand for it.

Also, I hope the airline charges the mom for the baby being an extra passenger. Kinda fucked up if the baby gets to fly for free.

PS. Congrats to the new mother and baby. Merry Christmas.
