The Ghanian superstar disappeared while on holiday with Gyan in late July, along with Janet Badu. Both were presumed to have drowned, but speculation surrounding Castro’s death has been rife due to the fact his body has not been found. The lack of a body has sparked rumours in Ghana that Gyan, who left the Premier League in 2012, performed a human sacrifice on the rapper.Gyan’s family have vehemently denied the allegations, but they are refusing to go away. That has led the ex-Sunderland star to organise a press conference for tomorrow to put the rumours to bed. A statement on his official website said: “The Gyan Family will hold a press conference on Wednesday address recent issues of public interest including the disappearance of musical icon Theophilus Tagoe (aka Castro). “It will be recalled that Theophilus Tagoe (aka Castro) and Janet Bandu went missing while on a holiday hangout with Family and Friends of the Gyan’s at a resort in Ada back in July. Relentless efforts are still being made to find the missing duo. “The opportunity will also be used to officially respond to some allegations and untruths bundled about in the media over the role of Asamoah Gyan in the duo’s disappearance.”…..….Here’s my question. If you have to call a press conference to tell everyone you didn’t kill your friend in a human sacrifice that probably means you killed him in a human sacrifice right? I mean that’s not just a normal every day rumor that gets floated around. If someone could jump from A (a person dying) to Z (Oh yeah, it was probably his friend performing a Human Sacrifice to get his soccer powers back) then that means you’re up to some sketchy shit. Just not something most people would get accused of. So good work Gyan, have fun with your press conference, but anyone with a brain realizes you most likely asked your friend to go on vacation with you so that you could put him into a big witch doctor cauldron.
