Cali Bro Leads Police On High Speed Chase, Ditches Car And Tries To Get Away On His Skateboard

So stupid to stop using your skateboard. So so dumb

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A suspect wanted for allegedly stealing a BMW sedan led police on a chase in Van Nuys, bailed out on foot and attempted to get away on a skateboard before he was blocked by a Good Samaritan in a pickup truck as officers arrived.

The suspect exited the 405 Freeway at Victory Boulevard at about 3:40 p.m. and drove on surface streets in Van Nuys at high speeds, reaching up to 90 mph at times. On eastbound Sherman Way, the suspect crashed into the back of another vehicle in stopped traffic. The suspect then jumped out of the BMW and ran into oncoming traffic with a longboard skateboard in his arms.

Love this guy. Can’t be more Cali than he is. High Speed Police Chase, which is the quintessential California past time, check. Sick ass skateboard, check. Wool hat on your head even though it’s probably 70 degrees outside, check. Have it all go down in “the valley”, check. Just as Cali as Cali gets. Only thing he didn’t account for was Italian Ozzie Guillen with his bluetooth headset playing Good Samaritan. Sometimes you skate away from the cops, and sometimes you get blocked by a Dodge Ram because a guy woke up and decided to be a hero. Tough break. Least you went out being a bro.
