(Source) Land O’Lakes, Florida — A two-time Bulgarian Maxim model was pulled over for driving the wrong way in Pasco County and had an unusual explanation… and one that quickly proved to be her undoing. According to her arrest affidavit, 29-year-old Ralitsa Nikolaeva Ivanova was pulled over by a deputy early Wednesday morning, after she was seen driving erratically — going the wrong way and weaving in and out of lanes — on US 41.

The Sheriff’s Deputy who pulled her over reported a strong smell of alcohol coming from Ivanova’s car and on her breath. She told the deputy she was driving home to St. Petersburg from Tampa, and didn’t realize she was actually in Land O’Lakes. Ivanova, who also goes by Rail, was named as Bulgaria’s representative in Esquire’s “Sexiest Woman Alive Atlas,” according to the Daily Mail, in addition to appearing in Maxim.

Ivanova’s explanation for driving erratically: she had been texting and driving. When she showed the deputy her phone, the deputy observed texts from another person advising her not to perform a field sobriety test or to take a breathalyzer. Ivanova allegedly had trouble maintaining her balance as she got out of the car and had bloodshot, watery eyes. She initially agreed to a field sobriety test, but quickly refused to perform any more tests. The deputy arrested Ivanova for driving under the influence. Her arrest report notes she was again asked to perform a field sobriety test, which she “performed very poorly.”

Now I’m not going to do what everyone thinks I’m going to do and start talking about stereotypes. Talk about how this is a blonde female driver driving the wrong way on the highway because she had a drink and was too busy texting. How this just proves everything we already knew and it’s the least surprising story of all time, basically every stereotype ever wrapped into one story. How models are dumb and should never get their license to begin with. Nope, not going to do any of that. I won’t stoop that low. All I will say is that sometimes you get in a text message conversation that you really can’t end without it being awkward. Everyone has been there. If you don’t reply the person on the other end will start inferring crazy thoughts based solely on your silence. And what’s worse, awkward silence over text message or driving drunk the wrong way on a road? See? A lot closer than you think.

PS

Swing and a miss by this cop not letting her walk in exchange for a number. What’s even the point of joining the police force if you aren’t down to do some questionable shit when you pull over a smoke?
