Anonymous Just Leaked The Name Of The Police Officer Who Shot Michael Brown In Ferguson. Which Begs The Question, Is Anonymous The Scariest Thing In The World?

So I don’t know how much everyone is up to speed on this whole Ferguson thing. The short of it is a Cop killed an unarmed black kid over the weekend in broad daylight, police refuse to release the name of the officer, protests and outrage ensues.

Anyway, Anonymous, the group of worldwide hackers, said on Sunday that if the police don’t release the name they will themselves. And lo and behold this morning they released the guy’s name. Which begs the question, is Anonymous the scariest group of people in the world? I’m absolutely petrified of them. I don’t even understand how they work. How the hell did they get this guy’s name? How do you hack a police department’s computer system? If you gave me a billion years to find out who shot Michael Brown I would sit on my computer googling “Cop that shot that kid” or “who shot that kid in Ferguson that one time” over and over (quotations in google search, old hacker trick, that one’s free). But they basically can find out anything about anyone no matter how secure. It’s insanity. Sometimes I feel like everyone in the world is in anonymous except me. Is that crazy? If you guys were in anonymous would you tell me? Because I’m a few seconds away from blogging the rest of the day with a tinfoil helmet under a pillow fort just to try and block Anonymous from hacking me.
