A Former College Hoops Player Proposed To His Girlfriend During A 1-On-1 Like 'Love & Basketball'

That’s former NC State player Alex “Superman” Johnson (real aggressive nickname there champ) proposing to his girlfriend and isn’t that just the sweetest? Though I’m sure this was very well planned and whatever — this chick probably should have been tipped off by 70 guys in a gym riveted by a one on one game between a guy and a girl — I probably would have pulled back on the proposal when I saw this reaction from her when he faked his injury:

Can you maybe muster up some sort of reaction when your lover’s ACL has been shredded like a fine Parmesan? Like an “Oh baby are you okay?” or honestly a tear doesn’t seem out of line either. Maybe it’s not a reason to entirely call off a proposal but I’d definitely roll around on the ground for an extra second or two to think about it.

PS this guy might have wanted to check his girl’s earrings before proposing. The bigger the hoop the bigger the etc etc
