Yesterday Was A Bad Day But At Least Our Coach Doesn't Take Football Advice From The Team Chaplain

No two ways about it, yesterday was a tough one. Injuries, penalties, dropped punts, inability to stop the run and get off the field when it mattered, questionable play calling and constant fade routes to Scott Chandler, etc. It was a tough night to be a Patriots fan. But, like a beam of light from heaven, Rex Ryan is here to warm our souls. He’s like the black sheep of the AFC East family. You thought all that was tough? Imagine having Belichick didn’t challenge a crucial late-game call because the team chaplain told him not to. The man who channels god for the Bills organization said, “No, it’s cool. I talked to the man upstairs and he says don’t even think about challenging that even though it’s pretty clear to the whole world that’s a catch.” Things could always be worse, just remember that. Our man upstairs is the mad scientist, Ernie Adams. The Bills man upstairs is the pretend guy in the sky that crazy people yell at and ask for help when things don’t go their way. It’s still good to be us.

PS – Before anyone says “James Trapp has a 10 year NFL career” just know that I don’t care. If you’re the team chaplain then you’re the team chaplain and your football advice should absolutely not be taken by the head coach during crucial times.

Double PS –  Rex Ryan is totally the type of guy who would listen to whatever Stan the Caddy had to say.
