Was Mike Shanahan Keeping RGIII In the Game After He Reinjured His Knee The Worst Coaching Decision In the History of Sports?

Listen I’ve watched sports for a long time.   I’ve seen a lot of bad coaching decisions in my day, but I got to say Mike Shannon sticking with RGIII when it was clear he was crippled is probably the worst decision I’ve ever seen anybody make in the history of my life.   And I’m not just saying that because of the possibility of ruining RGII’s career.   That didn’t even factor into it for me.  It was just painfully obvious he couldn’t play.  He was literally a cripple.   The Redskins have a legitimate backup who already proved he can win a big game.  Like I have no problem with RGIII starting the game, but once he re-injured his knee it was over.  Anybody with a brain could see that.  The guy couldn’t move.   How anybody could leave him in the game at that point was simply mind boggling.  It’s not like RGIII is a pocket passer.  If he has no mobility he’d dead.  Honestly somebody should cut Mike Shanahan’s brain out and do a lobotomy because I’d love to know what he was thinking.   And yes I think the Redskins win this game if Kirk Cousins plays from the 2nd quarter on.
