Want To Make Your Front Yard As Scary As Possible For Halloween? Might I Suggest Going With An ISIS Theme?

(Source) Politically-charged Halloween statements have seldom been successful in the past – and this one is proving no different. A family in New Jersey have upset some in the community of Butler for decorating their home with what they say is an ‘anti-ISIS’ theme, using a hanging mannequin representing a United States soldier and a terrorist standing nearby wearing a mask of President Obama and brandishing a machete. Behind the scene is a depiction of Jordanian pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kasaesbeh in a cage. He was horrifically burned alive by ISIS after being captured following the shooting down of his jet fighter earlier this year. While some neighbors have called the set-up ‘tasteless and un-American’, the homeowner said that real horror is more frightening than fake. ‘We in this house do not like ISIS,’ the homeowner, who asked that he only be identified as Matt, told NJ.com.  ‘What greater scary man is there than the real threat among us?’

Much like hot dogs on the 4th of July and Christmas carols in December, outrage over Halloween costumes and themed front yards is one of our country’s greatest pastimes.
This year will be no different.
I present to you the ISIS yard from Butler, NJ. Does it get any more terrifying than this? I mean this is the point of Halloween, to get a little notoriety in the neighborhood and scare the piss out of some kids. Well, a tombstone and some ghouls doesn’t get that job done anymore. You gotta reach higher. Kids these days are watching snuff films on YouTube like Faces of Death and they’re playing video games rife with gore. You think a CVS plastic skeleton is gonna scare them?
Hell, no. Gotta go with dead soldiers and infidel hostages. What makes that more scary? That we elected a president who’s actually a sleeper spy and he’s the one running the whole damn thing. Good luck sleeping with that knowledge, all you thirteen year olds looking for a free Snickers bar. I personally couldn’t agree more with the home owner, the only thing more terrifying than this set up is the fact that we allowed it to happen by voting for Obama.
