Trump Says Obama Colluded In Election Because He Thought Hillary Would Win, So Didn't Stop Putin

I know this headline is probably confusing as hell. Sorry about that. Would’ve made it more sensible but I’m just inches away from a Minnesota boondoggle so we gotta get this show on the road. I’ve got golf courses to see and crisp Minnesota air to breathe; don’t have time to be grinding over headlines. You clicked, you’re here, let’s chat.

Trump is absolutely right here. He’s spot on. Last week I detailed how some Obama officials were saying they “choked” on handling and responding to the intel they received last August about Putin meddling in our election to help Trump. They mulled dozens of different options and eventually settled on responding in a very, very moderate way.

Their response did not work the way they wanted it to work. Trump won.

So, why did Obama opt not to come down hard on Putin? Easy — he thought there wasn’t a chance in hell Hillary would lose. Not a shot. He quite literally laughed at the thought of Donnie coming out on top. Why would you go HAM on Putin in your last few months when you believe it matters not? You wouldn’t, and Obama didn’t. And then Hillary lost.

And now Trump’s absolutely right — isn’t that whole narrative pretty fucked up? Isn’t the sitting President choosing not to do x or y, instead going with z, solely because he thinks the person he wants to win is going to win, sort of misguided? Isn’t that sort of fucked up?

I’m not a lawyer so I don’t know what technically is or isn’t in play here. Probably nothing. But simply from a more general, overall understanding of this entire Putin/Russia/Trump/Hillary/Obama/Election saga, it’s pretty crucial to understand this: The Obama team was given the information in August that Putin was conducting a sophisticated operation to hurt Hillary and get Trump elected… then 3 months later, Trump gets elected, so Obama and the Democrats spearhead national investigations into how Putin affected that result.

Ummmmm, a little late Barry.

PS — It’s worth noting, we are yet to see any proof that Russia actually affected the outcome. What we do have is every single intelligence agency agreeing that they conducted significant operations in an effort to do so.
