Trump Had Problem With Former Miss Universe Because "She Gained A Massive Amount Of Weight"

US-VOTE-DEBATE

CNNHillary Clinton was making a point about Donald Trump and women at the first presidential debate when she brought up Alicia Machado, the former Miss Universe who says Donald Trump insulted her.

“This is a man who has calling women pigs, slobs and dogs and someone who has said pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers, who has said that women don’t deserve equal pay unless they do as good a job as men,” she said on the debate stage.

“And one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest — he loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them — and he called this woman ‘Miss Piggy,’ then he called her ‘Miss Housekeeping’ because she was Latina,” Clinton continued…

… “She was the winner and you know, she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem. We had a real problem,” Trump said.

So as you likely noticed, a slight distraction prevented me from fully and intimately consuming last night’s debate. Truth be told I was chillin’ with my buddies and textin’ babes.

But worry not, I’m catching up. The debate was underwhelming but still delivered its moments. One of those moments was the above exchange, when Hillary predictably called out Trump for his treatment of women. While not everything that came out of Trump’s mouth last night was true or smart or effective, him saying this this morning actually was. This actually makes a lot of sense.

A beauty pageant and all that comes with it is pretty damn straightforward. Hot, skinny chicks saying predictable but dumbass shit. You know how you don’t win a beauty contest? By being overweight. You know how you don’t rep the crown after winning a beauty contest? By gaining a massive amount of weight. That’s not a novel concept — what happened when Carrie Fisher showed up to The Force Awakens looking like she’d spent 30 years inside a Ben & Jerry’s box? George Lucas made her stop eating and throw up until she looked like Princess Leia, not Princess Fiona.

So Miss Universe gained a massive amount of weight? Gross. Of course that’s a problem. Not a ton of good points from the Donald since the debate but this is one of them. Clean it up, Miss Piggy.
