There Is Nothing Like The Life of A Boston Sports Fan

There is nothing quite like being a Boston Sports fan nowadays. It’s an elite club filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It seems like every season either ends with the Duckboats rolling down Boylston or with our guts ripped out. There is no inbetween. It’s literally all or nothing 95% of the time. Obviously it was the latter last night. Heartbreak city. And just like clockwork all the haters emerge from their caves and come down from the highlands to rip apart Boston. They live for it. Doesn’t even matter if they are hockey fans. It’s just an opportunity to take shots at us when we’re down because they know it won’t last long. They know that the Red Sox will probably win the World Series this year or the Pats will be in the Superbowl so they better hit us when they have the chance. That’s what being a Boston sports fan is all about and I’d have it no other way. Yeah when we lose it’s devastating but that’s because we’re always in position to win it all. Never forget that we are still the most dominant sports city in the world. That’s why everybody hates us. Because people hate the best.
