The Wells Report Confirming That Richie Incognito DID Bully Jonathan Martin Is The Dumbest Report In the History of Reports

ted

NBC - Ted Wells, co-chair of the Litigation Department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP (“Paul, Weiss”), has released his independent Report to the National Football League concerning allegations of workplace misconduct at the Miami Dolphins.

Said Mr. Wells: “The Report concludes that three starters on the Dolphins offensive line, Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey, engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin, but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer. The Report finds that the assistant trainer repeatedly was the object of racial slurs and other racially derogatory language; that the other offensive lineman was subjected to homophobic name-calling and improper physical touching; and that Martin was taunted on a persistent basis with sexually explicit remarks about his sister and his mother and at times ridiculed with racial insults and other offensive comments.” “The Report rejects any suggestion that Martin manufactured claims of abuse after the fact to cover up an impetuous decision to leave the team. Contemporaneous text messages that Martin sent to his parents and others months before he left the Dolphins—which have never before been made public—corroborate his account that the persistent harassment by his teammates caused him significant emotional distress. The Report concludes that the harassment by Martin’s teammates was a contributing factor in his decision to leave the team, but also finds that Martin’s teammates did not intend to drive Martin from the team or cause him lasting emotional injury,” said Mr. Wells. “Consistent with my prior practices involving similar investigative reports, it is not my present intention to hold a press conference or comment further about the Report. The Report is thorough and comprehensive, and speaks for itself,” said Mr. Wells.

DUMBEST REPORT EVER. Hey newsflash if you walk into any locker room in the world and pull quotes and stories out of context you can say everybody was bullied. Hell if somebody walked into Barstool Sports World Headquarters I’d be thrown in prison by the Bully Police for the way I treat Handsome Hank. Granted he deserves it because he’s borderline incompetent, but the point remains that guys bust each others balls. That’s how we interact. I don’t think I’ve ever said one nice thing to any of my closest friends in my life. It’s just a constant game of who can be meaner to each other. And I’m talking nothing it out of bounds. Like I’ve heard some of the most gruesome shit you’d ever want to hear from people who are my best friends. Parents getting divorced, family members with diseases, nothing is out of bounds. Multiply that times a billion and that’s how locker rooms are. That’s just how men interact. And frankly busting each other’s balls is how you know I like you. If I’m being nice to you that means I don’t trust you. So to send some investigative reporter into an NFL locker room to see if Incognito ever said anything mean to Martin is lunacy. Off course he did. This proves nothing. It’s all taken out of context and the hundreds of the texts between them proving they were friends is all you need to know. I mean what’s next? Investigate whether it’s gonna get dark tonight. So stupid.  This is just the NFL covering their ass because they are afraid of the PC police just like they are afraid of the concussion police.   Pussification of America at it’s finest.
